Are you an IT Project Manager eager to take on new challenges and make a meaningful difference?

Global Wind Organisation (GWO) is seeking a skilled professional to lead and deliver strategic IT projects that support our mission to set the global standard for safety and training in the wind industry. If you thrive on working with cross-functional teams, keeping projects on track, and seeing ideas come to life from concept to completion, we want to hear from you. Join us in making a difference in an innovative environment.

GWO members strive for an injury free work environment, setting common international standards for safety training and workforce development

Standards help our industry work more efficiently and effectively. Last year, more than 170,000 technicians working within the wind industry received GWO certified training accessed from more than 550 third-party certified training providers throughout the world. GWO is on a path to expand this workforce significantly while creating a broader set of standards and frameworks, so we need your help.

How will you contribute to the development of safety training and workforce development?

You will play a key role in the GWO Secretariat, contributing with your professional competence and belief in high achievement. As our IT Project Manager, you will ensure that every IT product developed by the GWO IT function meets the needs of end users and aligns with GWO's overall IT Roadmap, which supports our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with various business units to understand and define their needs, ensuring IT solutions meet and support these requirements
  • Maintain responsibility for your deliverables, while ensuring alignment within the team, across the organisation, and with external vendors as needed

As our new colleague you are:

A well-grounded individual with healthy values and excellent interpersonal skills. You know the importance of communicating constructively, and even when you do not know the answer to a question, you take the time to assist the person seeking an answer.

What we expect:

  • Experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably in cross-functional settings
  • Experience with application management, change management, and /or system integrations
  • Relevant education within within IT or application-related fields, or equivalent experience with certifications in project management methodologies or Agile practices
  • Fluent in English (verbally and written)

If the above sounds interesting, you should join us!

Seize the exciting opportunity to be part of an expanding industry where one can grow, enjoy, and contribute.

GWO offers the following:

  • Purposeful work for a non-profit organisation
  • Flat organisational structure
  • Emphasis on a balanced work life
  • Continuous personal development
  • Strong foundation for professional networking and sparring
