New member RES will bring four decades of global expertise to GWO, as they work together to strive for an injury-free work environment. RES’ safety leadership processes are overseen by the global Safety Leadership Team (SLT), ensuring an ongoing commitment to assessing safety performance, advocating reporting and preventing incidents.
Global Wind Organisation (GWO) is delighted to announce RES as its newest Leading Member. RES is the world’s largest independent renewable energy company, working across 24 countries and active in wind, solar, energy storage, green hydrogen, transmission and distribution. An industry innovator for over 40 years, RES has delivered more than 27 GW of renewable energy projects across the globe and plans to bring more than 22 GW of new capacity online in the next five years.
With RES now a leading member of GWO, Dennis Elberg, the company’s Vice President, HSQE Global Services, will join GWO’s General Assembly to provide input and expertise for the continuous development of GWO’s strategy and work programmes.
