John has worked in senior training roles within the renewable energy and industrial sectors for a number of years. At GWO he has previously helped co-ordinate the development of new standards alongside the secretariat as chair of the training committee, and is now Chair of the Board of Directors.
Eloy Jáuregui is an Industrial Senior Engineer and Executive MBA in Sustainable Global Business with more than 25 years in Health & Safety management. He has been working in the Renewable sector for the last 20 years. Since 2009 is Health & Safety Global Director of ACCIONA Energy. He was part of the first steps of the Global Wind Organization and during 2018/2020 took its Chairman position.
Ann has been working with GWO actively in the Training Committee since 2014, latterly with SGRE, and now at GE Vernova. She has been Chair of the Training Committee since 2022 and was elected to the Board of Directors in 2023.
Vice President, Safety, Security and Sustainability Renewables Equinor
Tove, holds an MSc in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture. She spent 17 years at ExxonMobil before joining Equinor in 2007. She oversees offshore wind, solar, and storage safety. Tove also serves on the board of G+ and chaired the association between 2020-2022.
Marko has worked in renewable energy since 2013 focused on Health and Safety roles and supplier Quality Assurance at Nordex Acciona. Marko joined BayWa r.e in 2024 and leads the company's representation with the GWO General Assembly
Elena Caja Martín
Vice Chair of the GWO Audit & Compliance Committee
Elena has been working in the renewable industry for more than 20 years and in the safety arena since 2010. At Ocean Winds, she manages the Health & Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality Department at a global level, setting company-wide standards and coordinating HSSEQ efforts across OW’s projects. In 2024, she joined the board of G+.
Edward joined Avangrid in July 2023 as the Senior Director for Environmental Health & Safety for North America, which operates in 23 states throughout the nation. He has responsibility for onshore, offshore and solar assets, and sits on the Global HSE board for Iberdrola group, coordinating with the parent company and sister company Scottish Power.
Global EHS Director & Compliance Commissioner, Envision Energy
Howard is an EHS Director responsible for the Envision Global Project, service and hydrogen. He is also a Compliance Commissioner for Envision international business regions. He has represented the company on various committees since 2018 and was elected to the GWO Board of Directors in 2023.
René is currently Head of Global Training in Siemens Gamesa where he heads the Training Decision Board formulating Siemens Gamesa's training strategy and prioritization of efforts in support of strategic goals, governing training across Service, Offshore and Onshore business units.
Sebastian has extensive experience in QHSE and competency management within the offshore energy sector. At Ørsted, he oversees QHSE requirements in the supply chain and plays an active role in Ørsted’s business performance management team. Sebastian has been actively involved with industry organisations such as IOGP, IPIECA, and G+.
With over 20 years in QHSE, Dennis is committed to aligning industry training with evolving safety needs, supporting GWO’s mission to standardise and improve workforce competence worldwide. His vision is to strengthen global safety standards, foster collaboration, and enhance workforce training.
