The WINDA API is structured around the principles of REST, offering a flexible and standardised approach to accessing its functionalities. WINDA API is designed to help partially automate specific tasks within the WINDA platform, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual effort.
Currently, the WINDA API provides six endpoints, each offering distinct capabilities that can be leveraged for various integrations and operations. Users should also note that the WINDA API has a rate limit in place, ensuring optimal performance and fair usage across all clients, as well as protecting against misuse of the WINDA API.
Due to the changes to the authentication scheme introduced with this version of the WINDA API – Documentation, all previous versions of WINDA API documentation are no longer valid.
To use the WINDA API, please download and study the WINDA API Documentation. Contact GWO at info@globalwindsafety.org using the template from the WINDA API Documentation to enable access to WINDA API Test to verify your solution. Once tested and shown working you can request GWO to enable access to WINDA API Prod.
