Webinars explaining the Enhanced First Aid and Advanced Rescue Training Standards have now been published
The latest series of webinars explaining new or revised GWO training standards have now been published.
The webinars cover three standards including the recently launched Advanced Rescue Training and Enhanced First Aid in addition to the Basic Safety Training Sea Survival module.

The demand for wind energy continues to grow at a steady pace. By 2028, the world will need over 532,000 technicians to build and maintain wind fleets, both onshore and offshore. Notably, 40% of these roles will need to be filled by new entrants
Brazilian Association of Wind Energy and New Technologies, ABEEólica, has signed an MOU in strategic partnership with training standards body GWO. Tried and tested collaboration will provide certainty for all stakeholders, aligning Brazil’s safety regulations with globally recognised standards.
GWO and IRENA will initiate discussions of how global standards can best support skilled workforce development, in line with 2030 targets. Co-publication of the Jobs4RE Workforce Training Guidelines for the Wind Industry is set to follow in 2025.
