When you visit our website, we collect data via cookies based on your consent. We do this to improve the user experience and the content of our website. If you submit a request via our request form, we process the data you supply in your request to handle your request.

When you apply for a job position, GWO processes personal data to evaluate your qualifications for the relevant job position, to contact in conjunction with your application and the recruiting process in general and to conduct interviews and personality tests in relation to the recruitment process.
CV, application, name, contact information, results of personality test, notes from the interview and other information provided during the recruitment.
Legitimate interest, GDPR, Article 6(1)(f). GWO’s legitimate interest comprises of being able to evaluate each applicants’ qualifications for a job position and choose the most qualified candidate.
When applying for a posted job position an extended storage period for future job openings is based on your consent, article 6(1)(a).
Personal data processed in relation to solicited application are stored for up to 2 months after the recruitment process is completed. If a consent is provided personal information is stored for 6 months or until withdrawal of consent. After 6 months the candidate is presented with the opportunity to extend the consent for another 6 months.
Personal data processed in relation to unsolicited application are stored for up to 6 months. After 6 months the candidate is presented with the opportunity to extend the consent for another 6 months.
When you interact with us as a business partner, we process any information provided in your communication with GWO. I.e. in relation to sponsorship, supplies or auditor function. Further in case of inquiries through our support function, we will process any data you provide.

If you sign up for an event or training session, GWO processes personal information necessary to manage your participation in the event or training.

GWO processes personal information when you interact with our social media sites. We use our social media platforms to promote GWO and the activities GWO is involved in. Your personal information is processed to improve our profile, to create statistics of activity and to communicate with you.

GWO does not share your personal data with any third party or with companies, organisations and individuals outside GWO, unless you consent to such disclosure or it is required by law, regulators, public authorities (in particular supervisory authorities), relevant accredited organisations or court orders or unless necessary as part of the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, e.g. towards legal representation.
We use data processors who are providing IT-systems and services to us, in order for us to manage the activities described in this notice. Data processors are subject to GWO’s instructions provided via data processor agreements in accordance with GDPR article 28. GWO conducts ongoing audits of data processors to make sure they meet the requirements and obligations of the data processor agreement.
Data processors may be situated in a third country which in some instances may result in third country transfers. GWO ensures that there is a legal basis for such transfers to establish an adequate level of data protection, cf. GDPR chapter 5.
