The Annual Report 2024, ‘Building a Skilled Workforce Future’, provides an overview of the collective efforts of the GWO community to ensure a safer workplace and support the pathway to Net Zero.
GWO’s Annual Report for the 2024 calendar year summarises activities across the GWO network, highlighting key trends and continued progress in the adoption of industry standards for the renewable energy workforce.
Highlights of the report include a 13% increase in the total number of GWO Active Course Participants, reaching 190,720 people at the end of 2024 (2023:168,500). Training volumes increased 16% by the number of records uploaded, with participants holding 5.89 GWO training records on average by the end of 2024, compared with 5.45 in the previous year. Overall, training records increased from 454,102 in 2023 to 530,758 in 2024.
