As well as training standards and requirement documents, GWO publishes an expanding range of briefings, reports and data aimed at supporting safety through the expansion of safety and technical training in the renewable energy industry.
GWO provides curated access to data collected through its WINDA database about training providers and participants' training activities in line with GDPR. See this link for more on our data privacy policy. The data collected in WINDA informs GWO on its strategy and financial performance. It also allows GWO to communicate to a wide variety of stakeholders about the growth and adoption of training standards in support of strategic goals.
Disclosure of competitive information can make the market more transparent, reducing uncertainty for the operators and businesses in that market and encourage effective competition. However, disclosure can risk coordination by operators and businesses. For this reason it is GWO policy to control the disclosure of sensitive information such as costs, pricing, business strategies, product development, production and sales. Individualised, current and future information is regarded as very sensitive and and is not exchanged with others. This includes information on individual training providers (except their own data) and small, readily identifiable, groups, for example territories with few training providers.
Readers are welcome to explore, read and download files (in pdf) from our searchable library of briefings, reports and, by using our Power BI interface, create and download their own statistical analysis (within parameters, see above).
Users of our statistics and publications may do so freely with acknowledgement and within copyright. GWO undertakes to provide data to industry standards, but can accept no liability for the information or decisions made, based on this data, by users.
